good morning,
I am intrigued by the seder plate pattern, and want to ask your permission to make this plate for the following purpose.
In Ottawa (Canada) Jewish Family Services, Shalom Bayit committee holds an annual women's seder as our main form of outreach and education regarding ending violence against women. This year we are asking artists to donate their talents and time to create seder plates for a silent auciton. Your plate and symbols are so unique and creative that I know it will be a "big seller". The monies raised will directly help women who find themselves in need - from basic emergency housing to food and clothing.
I would be pleased to order the pattern but could not find the "buy now" button as suggested.
I look forward to hearing from you and hope to receiving permission to make and add your plate to our auction.
Regards,
Margo Rosen

I went to the website for the knitted dreidel pattern but there was nothing there. What is the live link please?

Greetings Robyn,
Thanks so much for your interest in my pattern.
My knitted Judaica patterns are part of my series of Patterns for Peacebuilders, at
(http://tikkunknits.wordpress.com/patterns-for-peacebuilders/)
I make them available free for the duration of a holiday (and a bit after), and then they can be obtained for a nominal contribution to one of the listed peace-building organizations. The TikkunKnits Dreidel pattern can be obtained for a nominal contribution to one of the peace-building organizations listed at:
http://tikkunknits.wordpress.com/mid-east-peacebuilders/
If you are certain you want it, then I’ll list a copy on my Etsy account so that you can purchase it via PayPal. Just let me know when you are ready for me to list it, and which organization you would like me to contribute to.

I’m still trying to sort out a direct PayPal link on my website. If I get that organized sooner than later I’ll let you know. The contribution amount will remain the same for emailed pdf copies of the pattern: $5, to be contributed to the organization you select from the list.
B’shalom, Leslie

7/17/08 pattern update:
The dreidel pattern is now available by automatic Payloadz/PayPal purchase and download, for $7.50. Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any trouble with the process, and happy knitting!
